Comit 2
I could never understand why you have to go deaf if you want to hunt in Minnesota.
leech~~
I wonder what holds the bolt in when fired if you don't pull down to lock it and then just pull back to open it?
Early Riser
Too bad suppressors are illegal on firearms in the MN nanny state. Maybe someday we can get that lifted. If you can find them, the Aguila Super Colibri round is a 19 grain bullet that is all but silent out of a bolt action .22 rifle. It is quitter than the CCI CBs shorts and longs, and more consistent in accuracy. I bought 6 bricks about 4 years ago and I am glad I did as I have not seen them anywhere in over two years. I use them out of a CZ 452 that I sighted in for this round, and they are deadly for pest control, and are even quitter than my .20 Sheridan air rifle. I have tested the Super Colibri for hunting as well and they reliably kill cottontail with a shoulder shot, and grey squirrels with head shots at ranges up to 15 to 25 yards. They were made for years, their problem is fouling with blowback and the lock siezes up.They need to be kept clean.ops edit for leech
Comit 2
Most of the actions used in the Biathlon are straight pull actions.
Comit 2
I have this posted on .17 HMR too. This shows the action well but it is not a .22 RF. SWEET.

Maybe we could hunt closer to the cities if we didn't distrub the peace! Ha.
fishuhalik
I've hunted prairie dogs in ND with suppressed .17s. It was life changing

They're still around... just as spendy, or more, than other 22 shells though.
Neighbor_guy
I would love a suppressor for night hunting fox/coyote. I wouldn't mind allowing for night vision or starlight scopes for that activity as well. The problem is in this state the likely hood of some jack wagon killing deer is higher than any if us would like to believe. Thus no suppress ors. Grum
Looks like a sweet little rifle. ( A rhetorical question) As far as the "moderator" goes, why is it that in MN you have to have a muffler on your motor vehicle, but can't put one on you firearm? Apparently they are optional on motorcycles.
