My Son's First Gobbler

Recommended Posts

My 9 year-old son took his first gobbler on April 27th this year. I think that it is great that MN let's the youngsters hunt all seasons now. This is a memory that neither of us will ever forget. I will be spending tomorrow trying to fill my archery tag. You gotta love spring turkey hunting. full-31090-45543-img_20140427_110011_313

Congrats!

The number of youth licenses jumped pretty good this year. It's really catching on that blind hunting for spring Turks is just about the best way to get kids into hunting. For so many reasons...

Good luck with your bow!

Thank you all for the nice comments. I ended up arrowing a jake this morning at about 6:30 this morning. Heard a lot of other gobblers too. Another great day in the turkey woods. Too bad we are all done now until next year. full-31090-45581-img_20140511_064158_635
