Actually thought the game was fun tonight. The pace is so much faster, very little camping and sniping.

Couple things I haven't figured out yet. You can buy upgrades for things like your killstreaks but I can't find how much I have to spend or what my balance is. Also I haven't been able to look at a lobby leaderboard or other people's stats.

Its a nice change of pace. I was pleasantly surprised.

Outstanding!! You're still on the 360 right? I'm still running the good ol' ps3. How'd the "old" 360 handle the game? Graphics/gameplay up to par?

Yeah, still on the 360. I couldn’t justify buying a new system just to play one game. I seen a slight improvement on the graphics, nothing mind blowing and all in all if you are familiar with past COD titles, you should be able to just jump right in and play. People are either going to love or hate the jumping and exo suits. My first impression was that I liked it, but I fear that the people that master the movements are really going to dominate. It’s not a hide in the corner and wait game anymore though, at least from my experience. Having said that, to me it has a distinct Black Ops flavor to it with the audio and graphics. As always, the campaign looks much better graphically speaking.

On a side note the audio is much different and there are a couple of things I noticed so far. 1: The sound of the frags going off is exactly like the sound of a Hunger Games contestant dying and 2: On Kill confirmed, they used the exact sound to confirm a tag as land mines or bouncing bettys or whatever they called them from a previous game (the thing that jumps up spins and kills you). So whenever you confirm a tag, you think you just tripped a land mine. Kind of annoying.

Oh and BTW, I’ve read that Zombies have been confirmed but will be available only as DLC.

The jury is still out for me on the game. It was pretty fun, I kinda liked momentum which we played at the end there. I know you weren't as big a fan wink

I was being Quickscoped which Pi$$ed me off quite a bit, since they were talking up so much how they removed it. But I guess that was the same with Ghosts to.

I got it for PS3 and played for about 3 hours last night. I'm a rusher so I enjoyed this game as it's very fast paced and fun. Put on lightweight with an SMG and you can hyper sprint around the map.

DTro is right about Exo suits and boost jumping. I got into a few lobbies where some guys obviously mastered it and would basically jump straight up in the air and land right on top of you with a shotty or some other one shot gun. It's hard to get your bearings when you're trying to shoot a duck out of the air and then they land behind you. A lot of guys running on roof tops looking for victims down below. Some of them would shoot you from the roof, others would jump down and follow you. The Exo suit helps with escaping too, however. If you start taking fire or need to move through a crossfire area you can boost jump or boost run to get through/away quicker.

Probably the only thing I didn't really like were the kill streaks. I played some games vs bots to start so I got try a lot of the streaks. Many of them were ineffective since there are so many buildings on most of the maps.

Graphics and sound on the game are amazing. I can't imagine what it would look like on Xbox One or PS4.

BTW, sniping is alive and well. Got in a lobby with a sniper and he was working people. I went 16-9 in my last game of the night and he killed me 7 times (5 via quick scope when I fired first).

I played quite a bit last, I'm not good at this one yet. I think my K/D yesterday was a .86 or something close. I did have one good game, 14-4.. So far I like it, I think there is a lot of figure out still yet. Still trying to figure out the class set up. I know as DTRO said, you can do more with your perks, but cant figure out what exactly. maybe you have to rank up higher first?

I was never much of a jumper, I have always been more of a crouch and work my way around the map kinda guy, I try and predict spawns and work my way back. now you can spawn and boost darn near across the whole map in a matter of a few seconds. I'll have to adjust the way that I play.

I thought graphics and sound were pretty darn good. Though picking up tags in Kill Confirm made me flinch more than a few times thinking I had just stepped on an IED.

I was about a 1.5 KDR Deitz, but I definitely had some negative games. I must have had a great connection my first five games because I was way positive including a 26-6. That evened out quickly as I couldn't win a gun fight to save my life in a few lobbies.

So I see on the COD forums that they intentionally left out the lobby leaderboard. To stop people from leaderboard shopping. Interesting.. works for me.

I've been saying this since they started putting up lobby leaderboards. I think we all did it. If I was in a lobby and everyone was a 2.5kd, you better believe I'm backing out

Right now I've only played it an hour........you seem to die really fast. It is cool, I should have played against some bots or the like to get more accustomed to it though. I know I'll be checking out more Youtube videos as well, as there are still a few things I'm not sure about. If you have a cashwise video or the like where you could rent it for a few days I would do that if you are leery of getting a COD title. I think it will be decent for the winter months though.

Last night I played mostly Classic Deathmatch (no jumping and exos) and it REALLY felt like playing Black Ops. Honestly though it’s a lot of the same COD stuff. Not a whole lot has changed. It IS sort of refreshing not having everyone scroll through the lobby leaderboards and either say you are trying too hard or boosting because you have a high K/D or saying you suck because its so low. Just jump in the game and play and have fun. If you get frustrated by dying a lot or losing, don’t buy it, because there is still lag and still a lot of games where the opponent seems to have a network advantage or vice versa. Personally I really don’t care if I go 5-20 and now that nobody can see my K/D I will care even less. I’ll say this though, whether I’m living or dying or losing or winning, I have a lot more fun when I’m playing on a team full of friends.

Well Said Dtro. And actually after you say it, I don't care if I die so much since folks can't watch my K/D...........granted after the match they can see but who cares.

Oh yeah, and if anyone cares I am currently rocking a .46 K/D

No help here. Mine sits unopened on my desk in the garage an hour and a half from the hotel. 5 days chasing ducks and then back to work. Crews I'm tied in with historically work late into the season. Has anyone ever pre-ordered and ended up being a Chrismas noob?

so all the jumping stuff is limited to certain game types?
