That's what I was thinking. It's either too much of the same old things or now its, whoa this is too different. Im sure Ill get it at some point but probably wont be at midnight. I played Ghosts far less than any other COD title since MW1, this series needs a big makeover.

Everyone says it needs a makeover, something totally new.

Why? It's Call of Duty. You run around different maps and shoot people.

If they put something new into the game, 1/2 the people ***ch "what a stupid gimmick!".

Look at this year with the booster packs. Everyone here says " what's with the stupid super jump?!?!".

If you want something new, play Battlefield, play Titanfall, play NHL 15 or get some buddies together, and design whatever game you want.

I guess I just don't understand the constant yearly complaining.

Instead of having futuristic weapons, and super hero powers, how about keeping in life like. Make it replicate Vietnam war, since they already have done the WW@. How about have different maps for some of the more well known wars. Civil war, WW1, the French revolution, ect...

Probably because futuristic weapons and super hero powers will sell more games than spending half your time standing there packing your muzzleloader so you can get that one shot off again.

You guys are crazy. If they make the same old style game with a few new weapons and maps you guys will say, "Im not paying $60 for the same old game, all they did is just add some new guns and maps. Its just a $60 map pack. Boring!" Seriously, thats probably been said verbatim in the COD thread. People complain how bored they were with the recent titles, it gets changed, and now people want the status quo COD title?

So basically, y'all are saying you want the same game as past games cuz you liked the play style, you just want it to be different...ok. No one wants a video game without automatic weapons, scoped rifles & things that explode. People want either current or futuristic weapons, which rules out a ww or Korean/Vietnam War game. It's too soon for an OEF game. Basically, this was their only option without rehashing the exact same games. As much as y'all will b* & moan, it'll be another record setter & so will next November. Either move on to a new game or quit playing.

How about a new graphics engine instead of the same warmed-over Quake engine they've been using year after year after year?

Nope, let's add exoskeletons that allow players to jump around like a bunch of idiots (and they will) and guns that print their own bullets.

I would think it's getting to the point where you should be able to incorporate actual places with all of the mapping software.

Grwat idea. Instead of creating maps where there's open areas, choke points, etc, make it completely realistic. I would love to try a few maps that were actually in the woods/jungle, not just on paths that wind through the trees. Urban environments where you can access all the floors & rooms of the homes. Also, I've always though that in hc mode, if you get shot in the leg, you shouldnt be able to run. Or if you take one to the arm, you drop your primary & switch to a pistol with your other arm. Maybe make it a new game mode. Just some ideas

I also feel that if you camp & aren't using a sniper rifle, you should be penalized.

For what reason? The way you guys are talking you want the same old game. Wouldnt want such a drastic change from the norm.

I like battlefield, but I don't like how the game plays. The maps are too big & it just doesn't feel right. Plus, I HATE having vehicles in the game that you dont earn. But yes, I think cod could take some notes from their map style

Go back to the post about Vietnam, Korea, even Osama's "bunker".

All of these are, or have battlefields that SHOULD be able to be incorporated into the game.

Have real life places that the battle takes place in.

You could go back to Vietnam, Revolutionary War, Civil War, all of those and make maps of battlefields.

BUT..... again, those are just maps. And once you do those maps, you only have new maps.

Honestly, I think it'll go the way of Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

Rock Band brought out the keyboard and it was a flop. But other than just putting out new songs, what could they do?

I think you've seen your limit. Even if they brought in vehicles (somewhat did with the remote car). World at War had tanks, you can earn choppers. People will still think the players that get those are hacking or glitching, you'll still have people that complain about nerfed guns, or lag.

It is what it is. Don't want to buy it? Don't. You want to buy it because you have the extra $60 + tax to spend on it, go ahead.

You always beat around the bush, avoid questions, and give vague answers. MW was ground breaking in it's gameplay that's why you think it was so amazing. Essentially they are all running on the same engine are they not? You say you want the engine changed because that's the problem then bring up an old version of the game? Im lost. Ghosts runs far smoother than MW did. I dont get the lag, rarely have to deal any sort of host migration. Both had hacks, every game has hackers. The game just needs new ideas incorporated into its gameplay. Ill pass judgement on this title after Ive played it.
