minnesotamusky
I have a 2008 Polaris Sportsman 500 efi. I'm thinking about selling it because I don't use it much at all, only for ice fishing. It has about 100 hours on it. Also has chains on the back tires. If I do decide to sell, what would be a fair price to ask for????

aczr2k
Depending on condition I'd say $3000-$3500.

Macgyver55
KBB shows the retail value at $4325 and the trade in value at $2970.Their numbers have been low on virtually every Honda ATV I have sold, not sure how accurate they are on Polaris. rundrave
is it the LE with the painted plastic and aluminum wheels or the basic model with steel wheels?

fishing tech
I was thinking between 3500 and 4100. They were going new in 09 and 10 for $4700-4800
NAMASafetyDirector
You could also take a look at C-list and see if there are any compareable ones on there and what they are asking. Don't sell yourself short on that one. After all it is still one of the best models Polaris ever built and they still hold thier value nicely.
