leechlake
I'm in the market for a new portable. Here is my situation. I ice fish on my cabin lake 6-10 days a year. I am not a hole hopper. I fish with 2-3 people and I like some space so we aren't cramped. I almost always go out on a sled or 4 wheeler and drive a mile or so out on the lake. I'm leaning toward something like CLAM BIG FOOT XL4000T but am not stuck on that brand. Let me know some thoughts.

Greenhornet84
How bout the clam x4 I think that's what it's called. It's a 4 person flip over with a tub 4 chairs back to back if that makes sense.

dan z
Spent an hour in a 949i Eskimo and it had tons of space and it heated very easy.
gonehunting
You have to also look that it is a flip over with a sled versus a hub style shelter. If you have a snowmobile I'd take the X4 any day. I've fished in too many windy days to go with a hub that big. My opinion only.
Vitreus
I wouldn't rule out an otter. From what I've seen they seem to have the best canvas and the sleds are pretty durable.
