Anyone have a bow, etc camo dipped?

I've got an old Bear Mag handle I'm thinking about bringing back to life. Love the bow, just not easy on the eyes!

Yep, I saw that place & another in Rochester. Was looking for actual feedback how the process went and how the results were.

Thought about just sanding, acetone bath, & painting myself. But for a few extra bucks, I could have a Predator camo!

Just spoke w/ the shop that does all the assembly/disassembly for TCH and they gave me the nod. Does awesome work as I was told.

That was easy. Now just have figure out what pattern? Plenty to choose from!

I've seen one compound bow that was dipped and it looked like wood grain .

I'm going back & forth between Rosewood colored woodgrain or Predator Brown. Might have buy another so I can do one of each! Got the before pics taken last night. Anything is going to be an improvement on this riser!

Wanted to follow up w/ this one in case anyone was thinking of having anything done. My request when I had it done was a tan basecoat instead of white and a slightly darker finish to conceal it better for turkey hunting. Turned out pretty good I think. Here's some before & afters...

I didn't have the limbs done so I didn't get a full bow pic. Just black.

It's going to be hard to sneak up on a gobbler with that coin being so shiny. Looks great

I thought the same re: the coin, but didn't want to paint over it. The way I cant puts the coin nearly out of sight so I'm not worried. I've recently decided to hunt w/ the wood handle instead though. It hasn't been hunted with in several decades - it's time!
