Playoffs

No chatter about the playoffs?

I like Carolina in the NFC and chiefs in the AFC. Denver and Seattle will be hard to beat, but have shown they can be. Bengals may have an opportunoty , but are a very beatable team on the road.

gotta wonder what weather will be at super bowl. I'm going with the home teams in afc this wildcard weekend and away teams in nfc.

will be cheering for Carolina and kc. Think Carolina has a shot but don't expect much from kc. If I had to pick for superbowl, would have to go with the top seeds both making it although wouldn't be surprised to see 49ers make it and the nfc team winning it all.

Yeah KC had some clock/play management issues there. Lots of timeouts and some general indecision in plays. Much of what Reid has been criticized for at philly.

Luck is a stud. Made some mistakes but man the second half was unreal.

Really sad to see the Saints win last night. I would love to see those crooks have to go up to Green Bay to play for the NFC title, but I dont think the Champ has enough help for that, and I dont think the taints can make it out of Seattle. NFC title game should be in Seattle this year.

SF over Carolina- I dont think Carolina is ready for this type of game

New Orleans over Seattle- I cant bet against Sean Payton. One of the best, if not the best game planners in the league. Pete Carroll will be out coached.

Indy over New England- Toughest one to pick, Pats D is riddled with injuries, too much Luck.

Denver over SD- Manning is god

  • we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators

I'll pick SF, Seattle, Denver and New England.....unless they let Andrew Luck go like they did in the 2nd half last week.

Then we see a Seattle - Denver Superbowl and Seattle finally wins their 1st being they got robbed by the refs who handed it to the Stealers in their last appearance in the SB

    • Yeah it was a beatdown
    • Your kid needs to stay with him!👍
    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
