dairyman
I've tried just about everything to keep my feet warm.......I'm wearing the white bunny boots now and use "smart wool" socks with a light weight liner. I've tried the electric inserts and haven't had much luck with them either.........looking for any suggestions
fishwater
Maybe try a loose fitting pack boot used in conjunction with chemical foot warmers on the colder days? I slip warmers into my Muck boots now and again and my feet get almost too warm.
harvey lee
Check out the Techspun 2 part sock system. I love these socks and they are better than my Smartwool socks. These socks are awesome and also have a great warranty for life I believe.I own the Extreme weather socks and have had them for approx 5 years now.Just google it and you will find alot of info. There HSOforum name is TechSpun.
Eric Wettschreck
Is it possible your boots are too tight? I had a tough time keeping my feet warm until I upsized my boots. Went from an 11 to 11 1/2. That made a TON of difference for me.

My current ice and work boots are Merrill Ice Jams the first pair I made the mistake of buying off the net and went 1 size up from my summer Merrill Moabs, well the fit between the 2 styles are totaly different even with 1 size larger I can only wear a light wool sock and wasnt extrememly happy. This year seen them in a shoe store so decided to see what size I need in the Ice Jams eneded up getting a 13 where my Moabs are 10.5 now I can wear my Patigonia Expedition weight socks and totaly warm and happy on the ice now...Others are used for work now...When buying cold weather boots shop for them with the socks you will be wearing and make sure theres still room in the boots for air, like Eric said a 1/2 size can make a world of difference.... BobT
Here's something I have found very effective. Do you wear cotton socks against your skin and then put the wool socks over them? Try wearing the wool socks directly against your skin. When I do this I find me feet stay a lot warmer longer.
centralmnguy
I used to do the same thing 2000 gram boots ice armor socks and a pair of cotton socks over them...but then i stuck my hand down in my boot and it was wet from sweating. Try putting some foot powder on or a drying spray before putting boots on...made a huge difference for me...check the inside of your boot once you get done fishing to see if they feel damp especially by the toes

harvey lee
The 2 part sock system cures those sweating issues with the inner sock.
