Brad B
Mainly will be using the Clam Bomb Spoons this year but will also be trying the Clam Blade Spoons and Clam Speed Spoons too.
kapp
I like the whole VMC line not anything new as far as spoon design but colors and glow are interesting so I bought a few of each style
Ray1
The Clam blade spoon in glow red and gold.
driverjugs
I really like the Custom Jigs and Spins Spoons. I picked up a few different color combos that I didn't see last year. Can't go wrong the old reliable charmers from Tom's Tackle.
Northlander
I'm looking forward to trying the VMC tumbler and tingler spoons. I ordred a bunch of these. The Tingler will be awesome. I have been waiting for them to come back since back when Blue Fox made them.
Al.Wichman
I recently picked up the new VMC spoons, as said before not anything new but some of the colors caught my eye. Also picked up some of the Lindy 360 spoons and the new UV buckshots. Every year I say I wont buy much, then I make way to Gander and spend a ton on new line and a bunch of new jigs and stuff. Someday my wife will understand.
Scott O.
Looking forward to trying the new Clam Speed Spoons and the new VMC rattle spoons in UV glow colors as well as the new UV colors on the Northland buckshot rattle spoons. Rick G
Like others have stated, not much new in way of design. But some interesting new colors this year. The uv line from Northland has got my attention, I had good success with the uv crankbaits this fall, I bet the spoons with this paint on them will be good too. dirtymike
I picked up a few of the VMC Tinglers and some slender spoons. I have a whole separate tackle box for spoons now. I might have a problem.
ncesi
Just picked up a few of the new Lindy spinner spoons. We all know that the rattling flyers work so here's to hopping that he new spinners work as well
Savage Brewer
Mainly will be using the Clam Bomb Spoons this year but will also be trying the Clam Blade Spoons and Clam Speed Spoons too. Even though I bought a couple bombs, I cant help but look at it and scream "IT'S NOT A SPOON"I don't even know why they call it a spoon, other than having a treble hook off the bottom there is nothing resembling a spoon at all.Still hope it catches fish though. ParaPro
The UV line has my attention as well. Im sure on places like LOTW just about anything will w0rk, but Im kind of looking at something just a bit different that sets a spoon apart from the rest of the pack. I'm even going to try and experiment and make a couple of my own this winter during my downtime (If i get any with a new fisherman due on Christmas Day.) Tom Sawyer
Don't fish much dirty water other than the Horseshoe Chain where the UV Buckshot lineup from Northland might come out to play. The Buckshot Glider is way overdue, and will definitely find a spot in my spoon box. I know it's similar to Lindys. Just loyal to Northland.
oleWalter
A few years ago I made my own jigging spoons out of old jigheads, craft wire and paint. An HSO user posted a "How-To" manual and the final product is so awesome.Nothing more gratifying than slamming walleye, sauger, and crappie on a handmade lure! Fred_Bear
Buckshot Spoon or Slender Spoon... no need to spend a bunch of money trying to fix what isn't broken
20lbSloughShark
I never really cared about spoons until last year. I caught so many fish on the ratlin' flyer spoon, I have to get more. Its gone through 3 hooks, and no longer has paint; that is only from one season. I'm buying a bunch this year.
Brad B
Even though I bought a couple bombs, I cant help but look at it and scream "IT'S NOT A SPOON"I don't even know why they call it a spoon, other than having a treble hook off the bottom there is nothing resembling a spoon at all.Still hope it catches fish though. the thing I think with these will be that it does have that different look to it and hopefully the fish will react positively to them. I guess time will tell. I don't know for sure how much having that gem at the bottom of the hook will help attract the fish in. in dirty water it might not have a affect but I could see it drawing in fish in clear water lakes. Scott O.
The one new spoon I'm looking forward to trying this season is VMC's new rattling spoons. They have a great rattle and I'm hoping the new UV glow colors produce as well as I've heard.
Chad Holst
I only use 3 types of spoons...and 3 types ONLY... Small, medium and large Nah, I would say 99% of the time im on a PK Flutter fish, a PK spoon or a slender spoon. However it really depends on the fish. Walleyes? Pk all day, all night. PERIOD. Crappies? a mix of both brands. I tend to use the slender spoons more for a finess bite. PK isnt big here in MN for some reason, but for a guides that want something that works when no-one else has it in their box, to make them look like a mad genius, i got go with PK. I think every lure has its day, when nothing else seems to work, but i find that PK has more of those days than any other lure in my LARGE bag. Ron Vroom
I'm going with the Northland perch pattern glo Buckshot ratler 3/4 oz. although the record lake trout was caught on the 1/2oz. size last winter in Onatario, so I am upsizing for a bigger fish! I do fish that same lake.
tipup
Dont know how new they are, but they have my attention, the JB Spanker Jig. My kind of lure and I will be getting a few to try!
