Tire Chains

Recommended Posts

I carry them along just in case for deep snow, if its drifted bad on the lakes. Also elk hunting in Colorado. If it rains or a little wet snow it gets nasty on the dirt roads going up the mountain. I found that out the hard way. They will get through a good bit more.

I think, although this could be out of date, when they are required you are not allowed on the road in question without them.

I remember back in day folks in SF being upset at not being able to have chains on their Chevy Monzas.
