Watched Hundley last night and I'm indifferent on his draft stock. Seems like he throws a pretty decent ball, makes smart choices, but he runs way too much. The more and more I look at what's out there coming up in the draft for a QB the less and less I get excited about anybody. Late 2nd or 3rd round, anything earlier than that is way too much of a stretch. If you think our answer to that position is in the draft you are mistaken. MLB is our #1 concern, we have to make tackles. CB is a close #2 with guard as #3. If we don't fill those spots with out 1st 3 picks we're in trouble. Of course there's always free agency but I'm not sure what's out there. We need quantity in this draft meaning trading down for as many 1-2nd round picks.

How so? Please elaborate and if you can't stand behind your statement you have no business making one.

Truth is without a solid middle presence out there on D we're screwed. That has shown true since the beginning of the sport of Football. You need a guy who can read and adjust and a guy that can make tackles. Please name me a good team with a terrible MLB.

That picture is your elaboration of your opinion? Intelligent. And what a credible take you have. So what you're saying is take a guy in the top 10 of the draft that is a late 1st early 2nd just because that's what we need? Yeah because that's the "smart" move.

2-7 because of 1 position, the QB. Did you know that 11 players are out there for any given team at all times? Do know know that Football is a "team" sport? I don't think you can blame the record on 1 position can you?

LMIT you're a hypocrite, you're drinking the kool aid here. I've seen better play this year from the QB spot than the MLB spot. Even if the QB is the #1 priority that doesn't mean we should reach for one that doesn't warrant that draft spot.

I'm staring to think you two guys like eachother.

As far as the draft. I agree with most people, there aren't any great QBs in the draft.

Also, linebackers are rarely taken high in the draft.

They have plenty of needs, hopefully they have the people in place to draft the right guys.

Didn't they draft two Penn state linebackers last year, wonder if they are going to pan out at all.

Yet MLB is the #1 priority... Doh-kay.

Oh, thats right, the QB position is locked down (between 3 different players) so no need there.

Laughable... Which is exactly what every person in the country will be doing if the Vikings don't make QB the #1 priority in the draft next year.

Doh-Kay, IALTO, DEAD. Got anymore KFAN references there LMIT or does that about sum it up? You're comebacks are weaker than circus lemonade ME-Boy!

Every person in the country huh? Maybe every person that doesn't understand that there's 10 other players out there. What laughable is the lack of comprehension you have about the game of Football. You steal all of your material and all of your takes are that of the common man, seems like you drank your fair share of kool aid. Fact is we need players (and coaches) not just a QB. Do we need a competent guy under center? Yes. Do we take a QB #1 and pass on a better player at another hole we need filled just because he's a QB? No, that's dumb. We need talent, and the QBs coming out aren't the answer for all of the problems.

Someone better tell that to the Packers!

Huh? I'm pretty sure he's not the only factor player on GB that has been out or extremely hobbled since Rodgers injury. 1 man can't do it all. Did you every watch the Lions in the 90s? How about Marino, does that name ring a bell?

At first I thought you might be Wobschall with your complete asinine views of this team, but now I'm starting to think you're Spielman in the way that you're defending a 2-7 team and wanting to make ludicrous draft choices.

MLB he said...LOL.

Yeah I know right? We already have one, Henderson is a major presence out there, he doesn't miss a tackle and his pass coverage is awesome. I also love when he make reads and adjustments. Pro Bowl written all over that guy. And let's talk about our shut down corner.....
