I planted my turnips and radish's on sept 1st and it still has not froze they are now over 36 in tall I'm thinking they will be bitter tasting to the deer so I'm thinking of digging them up so they can eat them any thoughts?

Digging them up would then be considered baiting, no different than a apple tree in the woods is legal until you pick the apples off the tree and place them next to tree on the ground that's baiting.. Dumb yes I agree but was told this.

Exactly what Powerstroke said. Just leave them. They won't have much, if any appeal to the deer until after we have our first hard frost. The turnips and raddishs will then turn to a sweet treat that the deer will find with no problems. Thats the reason to plant them is the deer will use them late season after all the other crops are taken out or not green and tasty anymore. THAT'S when you have a field of gold.
