2012 bow buck back from taxi

Thought I'd share, got him back this week. Taxi did a great job.

Ya assuming he injured it in velvet. The two big boys got away, but I was thrilled to take an older buck the last week before gun season.

Technically it looks very nice. Love the bent brow tine too. One question though. It appears his nose points straight to the ground when he is hanging on the wall. Is this by design? When the mount is sitting on the floor, he looks like many traditional mounts. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to be critical. Its just a pose that I have not seen before.

He isn't hanging on the wall in either picture, just leaning up against a cabinet. The pose is a McKenzie 9700 upright series.
