Rimfire scope.

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, my son has a browning bl22 .22 and really wants to put a scope on it to do some hunting. Problem is is that gun is so small that a regular scope would throw the balance off and look funky on it. So does anyone have a recomendation for a smallish scope? His budget would be around 100$.

Barska, Tasco and Buschnell and make small tube scopes for .22 that are under 20 bucks and will do the job, but if it were me and I really wanted to scope that little browning I would probably put a short style pistol scope on it.

Here's a different opinion for your son to stir around. This is a BL-22 that I have had since the '70's and it has had this scope on it the whole time. It's a full sixe 4 power scope and it makes a nice combination for mixed use. The only catch is the dovetail grooves are microscopic on the receiver so it's a little tough to get the scope mounted.
