Insurance on travel trailer

Any one care to share some info on what they pay for insurance on their travel trailer Thanks in advance

I pay 220 a year on a 11000 dollar 5th wheel

State Farm - $202. per year on a 32ft NU-WA purchased used for $16,000

I pay 280 for mine a year but it is not through state farm. I have read that you should not insure your camper through an auto policy....I know there was not a big difference on price.

Wow, we pay almost $400 a year on an older 34' 5th Wheel. They claim it's priced as a "manufactured home" because it sits on a lot and does not move.

It would be cheaper if we towed it all over the country? Anyone else in this same boat? Time to look around I guess.

Do not put it on your home owners. If you have thefts you may be cancelled and forced to get state insurance as not company would pick your homeowners up. Might be best to get a separate policy.
