otter dissapointment

Ordered the cottage thermal 2 weeks ago from Cabelas to have a smaller house to fish in by myself. After waiting 2 weeks for it I got a call saying they were out of stock and done with them for the season. Really in Dec. They are out of them? Glad I waited and waisted half of my season and my 11 day vacation waiting for it to show up.

The sporting goods store in Walker still has them available on their HSOforum. You may want to try them. There are several others places to buy other than Cabelas.

Yeah sounds more like Cabelas problem, unless every retailer was sold out of them. Better shop around at more stores.

Dont forget about fleet farm they are a dealer also. I bought my t600 cabin off the floor assembled. Love that fleet farm

The FF here in town was starting take the ice fishing stuff down on Mon and I thought we still had 2 months yet

Doesn't sound like an Otter problem, just retailers making room for the latest and greatest.

Check with Thorne Brothers they had a fair amount of otter in stock just don't know for sure what models they still have.

Yeah, it's definitely a Cabela's problem. I thought it was weird to see "End of Season Blowout Sale" on the fish houses at Gander Mountain. Season just started...

They are shipped directly from otter. Called otter they are out of cottage and the resort. Got 75 bucks off of the best price I had found and had over 400 in gift cards there. Not sure why in Dec or Jan they could be out of houses. Oh well there are other thermals out there

Are you walking or pulling behind ATV or Sled? If pulling how about a Cabin, its a large one man. Otherwise if walking the Jasom Mitchel Pro looks pretty sweet.

Reeds has 2 Otter Thermal cottages on the Eb site. $599.95 plus $40 shipping. I would call Drew or Jeff and get one if your heart is set. You can use your C store gift cards on something else you can't live without.
