Ice is still Real thin on most lakes with 2 inches seeming to be the norm around .

Twin Lake in amery still has alot of open water ,

Magnor In Clayton still has open water most of the bays are froze over though 2"

Mary park in new richmond still has alot of open water

The back waters of the apple river in amery is completely froze over no more then 2 inches everywhere we checked

Please be safe when checking for ice conditions !! remember to always take someone with you and wear a PFD !!!!!

There were about a dozen guys fishing Big Round on Saturday and 5 or 6 today. They were scattered around the lake but mostly on the south side. Plenty in the Middle East of the grass island. Food travel should be fine. I did not see an ATV on the ice. I kept mine by the shore.

cedar seems to be hitten pretty good with the jumbos , and balsom is doing good just about every where you drill a hole , ice seams to be good all over now !! Wheelers are being ridden on almost every lake now . Turtle lakes are doing good for walleye and pike during the day.

good luck fishing
