Nice try Bowfin,but I applied for the Northside. Thats why I like the archery season I don't have to stick to one zone but the birds are normally getting smart by that time.

Got my first solo application in on Wednesday. Never been turkey hunting. Just one question, if I get drawn and get nothing can I get an archery license for a second try?

If you are drawn, that's it. You only get one tag in MN.

If you are not drawn, you can then get an over the counter tag without losing your preference for next year.

Speaking of easy....I applied online using my cell phone. Nothing like doing your application while sitting in a work training conference room with 200 other people.

Only problem is I applied for season A with 1 pref point already and I just found out our next quarterly training weekend is the same weekend of my hunt choice. Kinda hoping I don't get drawn because it will drive me nuts. I guess I will have to kill that bird in the first two days of the season.
