zepman
Romo would flourish here...he wouldn't be asked to do everything for his offense and he's seen it all...like him or not, he's put up some pretty impressive numbers over the years.I don't necessarily like the guy either but he would be the perfect QB to distribute the ball to the people we have. APHarvinRudolph...see the TE success in Dallas since he's been there. What free-agent receiver is going to want to sign with us while Ponder is throwing the ball...didn't we just go through this with TJack?? None...or Berrian type guys.Romo would/could secure Harvin and possibly bring in some of the receivers we need big time. Nice game by Ponder today...if he could give us that (or something close) each weekend this would be a very welcomed non-topic.
FISHINGURU
I'd take Big Ben for a QB anyday.
holmsvc
Ok 96trigger and RumRiverRat you obviously dislike the cowboys or have some other issue that clouds your judgement. The cowboys problem is not Romo. It is Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett! He is having a down year. A share of the blame goes on WRs, oline is terrible(Jerry Jones is a poor GM), all of the penalties that have been called on the team (coaching issue), and Murray being injured has killed the run game.Passer rating http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating Romo 2008 8th rated QB in the NFL, 2009 8th rated QB in the NFL, 2010 didn't qualify because of injurgy (was on pace to be top 10), and last year he was the 4th rated QB in the NFL. If Sean Payton is the coach next year I would expect to see Romo in the top 8 again no problem.
Slabasaurus
Dude rothlisberger is a beast. According to the national press... "that's what she said"I'd take Romo over Big Ben, but would rather not have to root for Romo. Why is this even a discussion? Ponder proved yesterday he can complete a pass longer than 19 yards! Atta Boy!!
LMITOUT
Was that a pass or a Hail Mary?
YiGGiN4SLoBS
Was that a pass or a Hail Mary? More terrible coverage then anything... wright had the guy burned by 5 yds. Ponder lolly popped it in there, should have been a td. At least he completed it
Slabasaurus
Was that a pass or a Hail Mary? Well some of us were just shocked the ball went that far.

RumRiverRat
Ok 96trigger and RumRiverRat you obviously dislike the cowboys or have some other issue that clouds your judgement. Romo is garbage. He cannot win when it matters. Who cares about stats all that matters is Super Bowl Rings and MVP awards. Romo has how many of those? FISHINGURU
Romo has nadda because he chokes EVERYTIME, he's had so many opportunities. People must not watch playoff football, I've seen Romo single handedly lose some big games for the Cowgirls.Big Ben is a gamer, how many times have you seen him make monster plays when his team needed him and it mattered most? RumRiverRat
Big Ben's game also extends to bars frequented by college coeds.
Slabasaurus
Big Ben's game also extends to bars frequented by college coeds. what can ya say... the man has some finesse to his game.perhaps it's the fact that around the goal line he knows whether a soft touch is needed, or if he can just ram it on home. John Elway wouldn't have won Super Bowls without Terrell Davis. Is Romo on there level absolutely not, but the Vikings aren't going to get anyone on that level. You say stats don't matter, but then talk about MVP awards. Those are won by stats.
