KG243
has anyone ever used the real deal when it comes to doe scent for the rut? I am curious to see how it has worked and if ti is worth the cost of $12. Thanks
Archerysniper
Yes I do I go and pick it right up at his deer farm. Now if it works any better I really can't say but I do like how fresh it is.
tunrevir
I assume you are talking about a local farm up near Cambridge area is what you are referring to AS. I have had good results with his products and like it because it is fresh and produced locally but have had decent results with some of the other commercially produced local scents as well. sticknstring
I usually use my own - can't beat the freshness or price and the deer really respond to it. Try it... seriously!
InTheNorthwoods
I usually use my own - can't beat the freshness or price and the deer really respond to it. Try it... seriously! I pee in scrapes all the time. In fact, that is how I open mock scrapes to hang the camera over. Works great.
slimngrizzly
I usually use my own - can't beat the freshness or price and the deer really respond to it. Try it... seriously! I agree!! I just hate it when I get it all over my hands when trying to bottle it, and the wife is complaining cause the fridge smells funny... women... sticknstring
That reminds me of a funny story involving a gatorade bottle and driving up the north shore, but I won't go there!
Hoyt4
Whitetail Country Scents Chuck Musker. I've been using this for last 5 years. I head out to his place like Archerysniper does and bottle it right up. Great luck with this. Just as good using buck pee in mock scrapes. Gander in Forest carries but you will pay more at the store.
