Big Bobber
I smoked and sliced 90 pounds of pork loin for a church dinner. What is the best way to warm for serving and still keep moist and tender? Thanks for the help.
reinhard1
i would put the smoked pork slices in a aluminum pan and put some apple juice in the pan. then cover the pan with foil and put in the oven in a low temp [around 225]. in a normal aluminum pan [turkey size] i have put about 1 1/2 cups of apple juice in a container that size and it seemed to work well. with apple juice you dont loose the flavor of the meat but enhance it some with a touch of sweetness. once the meat is hot to your liking turn the oven down to warm. good luck. Walleyehooker
For a party I warmed mine in a large electric roaster and also added some apple juice.
