leech~~
I am looking at the same thing right now as well. We just moved into a newer to us park model camper and I have tried about 3-4 of the best indoor antenna's they make with no good results. I have seen some good ideas for cheap, light, home made ones on the tube that people have made. One is just a circle of heavy copper wire on top of 20' feet of PVC pipe with a power booster hooked up. May give that a try. I may hook up a dish next year but really don't want to spend that kind of money at a camper when I should be out in the boat fishing and not sitting inside on my ash! woodsmanmn
On the dish idea, when we had our park model at a campground, we paid the 5 bucks a month or so extra to get another box for our 'bedroom'. Found another dish, they're not hard to find, they are regularly discarded. And set it all up for the trailer. It's easy to set up, the signal meter is built in to the box, and you can get the general idea of which way to point it by looking at other dishes around you. not_nuf_time
Question on the winguard, does it pick up local stations? And how does that translate now days with digital broadcasting. I do have a brand new flat screen in camper, so t.v. is up to date. Just wondering how the winguard works without a box. Thx

Have to be able to watch the Twins games ya know
Powerstroke
I use the winegard crank up antenna and it works well at picking up local channels. I use a tv with a digital tuner so there is no issue with digital signals.
