New 12ga?

I am looking for a 12Ga. I currently have a benelli super black eagle 1 which I have had for several years. So I don't need a 3 1/2". I will be using this gun for Pheasants, doves, and clays. I am torn between an autoloader like Browning Maxxus, Benelli super light and Montefeltro, or Beretta A400 or a391. Or an O/U like Browning or similar. Any recomendations?

I traded min WIN SX2 for a Browning Maxus, and I loved/love both guns. The maxus bucks a bit more than the X2 did though... But, once I have gotten used to shooting it, its a dead on gun, flawless operation last waterfowl season, and fun to handle....

Bought a Maxus myself last fall. Love the gun. Flawless operation so far andit just fits me so well. all guns mentioned are solid choices. Get the one that fits you the best. There is no substitute for a good fitting shotgun when it comes to accuracy.

Ill give another vote for a maxus. I currently have 3 of them. 3 1/2" snow camo a sporting carbon and a 3" stalker. I do have the stalker for sale... just throwing that out there!

Can't go wrong with any of the B's - Beretta, Benelli, Browning. Find the one of the three that fits the best to you.

Why do you want a new gun? Is there something you don't like about the SBE or something it doesn't have that you want?

I love my O/U for pheasants and clays, im shooting a 12 ga Citori 525 with 26" barrels. I love the balance of the O/U. I think everyone i let shoot it wants to buy one till they find out the price. Whatever you decide to buy make sure it fits you perfect.

No I love my SBE. Just looking for something that is prettier and will shoot 1oz dove and trap loads.

A Remington 1100 or 11-87 is a good choice. For field hunting a over under is too heavy in my opinion.

Can't go wrong with the Montefeltro! I LOVE mine! More reliable than the gas operated semi-autos, too.
