HOF#13
Kurt did not lose his ride (yet) and will be back for Michigan...Again, from jayski:Statement From Phoenix Racing regarding Kurt Busch and the #51 Chevy: Below is a statement from James Finch, owner of Phoenix Racing, regarding Kurt Busch and the #51 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet. "We have met with Kurt. At the end of the day, we are racers so we're going racing together with Kurt and the #51 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet. We know adjustments have to be made but how we fix that is between Kurt and myself. We're going to go to the track, work hard, race hard and work on trying to attract a sponsor and we're going to do that together."(
harvey lee
I wonder how long that team can last when they cannot aquire new sponsors with Kurt's attitude.I guess time will tell.I understand that any very good racer has to be confident in themselves and think that they will win every race. Some attitude comes going with that but there is a fine line and Kurt seems to go beyond that line too much. Then that hurts Hurt and the team owners.Even though I do not care for Kurt, I wish Kurt the best in getting his issues resolved as he is a very good race car driver. Johnsonator
I hope he either gets his act together and makes something of himself or gets benched. I am so sick of hearing about cry baby Kurt, time to race or move on. I've got a feeling he will have at least 1 more issue this before this year is over, dude has got issues. NAMASafetyDirector
I think he needs to spend about 5 years at a local dirt track spending his own money, where if he does well, he gets a small article in the local paper and if he pulls the stuff he normally pulls he get his face re-arranged behind a trailer. It either works or it doesn't (Harvey knows what I'm talking about!!).
gregg52
it might work for awhile kinda like the spencer punch but i just think he cant help him self for what ever the reason but 5-10yrs from now he's going to be sorry maybe before that

NAMASafetyDirector
I wasn't meaning you particularly Harvey Lee! Never met you, I was just commenting on the ways of the world at the dirt track level, hahha! I spent about 12 years turning wrenches up in G.F. and raced Greenbush about 5 and seen many a disagreement or difference of opinion between drivers settled behind the trailer! No white truck, no media, no b.s. just someone getting what they had coming. I think Kurt Busch could use a couple trips "out back" to get his attitude checked!! harvey lee
Now I understand what you are saying and do agree. One can go behind the trailer and settle it but many sanctions will have you not racing for quite some time with a penalty and a nice fine. But at least it does get taken care of rather than the Nascar way. Double D
But with Kurt Busch, his problem always seems to be with the media and the public, not so much with other drivers.DD
Sifty
I think we should let Jimmy Spencer answer that.Sifty
