Lizard vs brush hog

Basscat

Recommended Posts

I use to T-rig lizards a lot, great bait for bed fishing. The past two years i have been using brush hogs more though, but still pull out the lizards every now and than. They have caught me a lot of fish so I tend to keep a few packages on hand.

Actually, about the only time I use lizards anymore is on jigworms, when I really want to slow down the fall more than a ribbontail worm will allow - or I'm on pressured water where fish see a lot of jigworms. Other than that, in clear water I'm way more likely to use a straight tailed worm or tube on a Carolina rig, and beaver or hog type baits for pitching and flipping.
