Thinking about making the trip up that way. Is it easy to find lodging, bait etc? Able to get around on atv or is a snowmobile a necessity?

There are a some places to stay. We stayed at Cats on the Red. Google it to find out more info. People were out on atvs, snowmobiles, and trucks. Folks were driving trucks out but you have to be very careful. Lots of cracks and pressure ridges. Multiple trucks have gone into the ice this season.
