Had someone come and take a fish I speared from right beside my house today while I was sitting inside.

Seen this eagle earlier and when I came out of the house to go home one of my fish was gone and eagle tracks right up to the house.

Joey my son had a simalar experience this falll while duck hunting he dropped a redhead and before the dog went out of the boat Mr. Eagle swooped down and grabbed told Joey at least were helping the wild life

Great picture!

A few winters back I was in my angling house before dawn. Due to a Jan thaw there was about an inch of water on the ice. This water had about a 1/4 " on it. Sun came up. A beautiful morning. Right outside my window was a bald eagle! He/She was scratching at the 1/4 " of ice without success. It then flew/hopped up about 4' a couple times, slamming it's feet against the ice. Then pulled out what looked to be a perch. Still wish I'ld had a camera with me.

It's a great memory and seeing your great photo reminded me of it.
