I normally put at least 2 deer through my plastic Kitchen-Aid grinder attachments. Never had a problem in the 7 years I've been doing it. But I dont do all the grinding continuously. I'll maybe trim 10 lbs, then grind it, then trim some more, grind some more. Gives me a nice break from trimming.

That's good to hear. I was a little worried about a plastic grinder housing and worm gear. I'll be using mine mostly for small batches of sausage and sticks. I've got big plans for some meat in my freezer

I went to kohls and ended up getting the classic. It was on sale for 179, opened an account with kohls, so got 20% off, then recieved kohls cash, and a mail in rebate. So grand total around 125.00

HAHA I actually got most of mine done, Cyber Monday online deals. Now I wait for 2 days before Christmas and get everything else last minute!
