I'm thinking a mayfly hatch would be a good time to break out the fly fishing gear and get creative...

I had some buddies who did that during the hatch in the bwca. Caught a whole bunch of suckers.

If you have this app, take a look at Lake Waconia and look at the reef that runs off the south east side of the island. Mine doesn't show it all. I have a large solid blue area that blocks out the contour lines. I'm I the only one?

Zoom out just a bit. How are taking screen shots of your phone? Is it rooted?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and it's capable of screenshots without root.

That is part of the community layer and can be turned off and on in the settings area. You may want to click on it to see what it says?

Now, if you are brave, try downloading the Waconia map again and see if the entire bar shows, or not. I think they did something to the map.

I don't have time to go back and forth with Navionics right now, but go ahead and send them both before and after screenshots I posted and try to get them to fix it.

i have the old original version of this app on my phone and i just downloaded this new version on my Dad's phone. The new one seems pretty poor in quality on LOW, choppy and has "seems" almost like stitched together satellite images. i can deal with those things but what really bothers me is that it doesn't show the us/canadian border on the water. Is there any way to make these lines show up?

Quick question: how do you mark the spot were you currently are? I don't see that option on the Android app, only the iPhone version. We were catching eyes on Mille Lacs and I couldn't figure out how to mark our location.

Tap the screen, click the question mark that pops up, hit "add to favorites"

So it is in your current location then? I thought when you tap the screen it put the question mark where you tapped.

Single tap brings up the crosshairs along with the "?"button and the crosshairs will be centered over either your current position or the last position the crosshairs were over if you manually moved the screen. Double tapping the screen brings up the crosshairs and "?" and centers them to where you just tapped.

Tip - If you want a the most precise waypoint location tap the triangle button in the lower left corner, that will recalculate your location and also center the crosshairs over your location. Then immediately hit the "?" and add to favorites.
