Saturday Weather

Recommended Posts

Looks like the wind is going to blow this weekend. Rain, Snow, whatever. Think those deer are going to hole up in the brush & pines ?

I just hope it's snow instead of rain. Either way I plan on spending the entire day in the stand.

Yep, looks like its going to be windy where we are too. Predicting 20mph wind both Saturday and Sunday, highs those days of 33 and 28. I don't mind snow in the forecast, but I HATE rain! We will be up until Tuesday, so hopefully things will settle down by then.

Good luck to all you ML people!

Rode my tree stand until 1:00 yesterday before I called it off for the day. Had a doe and fawn walk right under me at 8:30, then two hours later, three does and one fawn came by at about 30 yards. Wind was not as bad as I had feared, and the deer seemed to be moving. Going to head out after lunch today to see if I can catch some deer moving in the lighter winds.

Bowhunted Wisc this morning for a few hours. Still some natural movement. Kid had a couple bucks chasing a doe around and grunting. Wind was a little harsh. Guns pretty quiet, no much shooting and not many guys seemed to be out for a last chance.
