Yes, they do. But it all depends on the size of the deer and the condition of the cape. I know some will trade it for a free antler mount of the deer. If you have the typical 150-160 lb deer that most bucks are harvested at in this state, it isn't worth the time. If you have a 200 lb deer, then you have something. If it has a big hole blown in it or you have cut it all the way up the chest into the lower throat, probably not worth it either.

They do but Deer capes are a dime a Doz for them right now. Many of them have friends they can get them from this time of year in case they screw one up or some one wants to mount an old pair of antlers. Now if you had a Big Horn sheep cape or something rare like that they need for a replacement. Gold! wink

If you have a cape with a 23 or 24 inch neck or better (measured correctly), theres a market for that! Especially on older bucks like this will often have unique colored forheads or maybe a double throught patch. Things like that would certainly make a cape "wanted". 3 1/2 year old buck or less.... just too many of them out there with too common of a neck.
