Went out on a shallow windblocked lake by trimont yesterday. Had 3inches of ice and caught alot of little perch, with a few nice ones mixed in.

First fish of the season.

This by no means scientific what so ever but here goes.Think about a single ice cube from your refrigerator.Small, about 2by1 inch piece of solid clear ice.A 300 pound man can stand on said ice cube without it crushing right? As Mr smarter than a fifth grader would say"there's your sign!"lol lol Good luck catching and don't fall in.c63

Too dangerous of an analogy to let stand c,63. Crushing force and load-bearing capacity are unrelated. The same could be said about a 300lb. man on a 1X2 inch piece of window pane glass. Care to bet on the results if said 300lb. man stands on a 10'X10' piece of window glass?
