Kinda a novice question...

I have 2 potential stands to sit on this weekend, one facing north and another facing south, given the winds, projected at fairly strong southerly i would be better off sitting nose to the wind wouldn't i??? the stand facing the south does have a road winding through the area we hunt(state land) but it is supposed to be off limits during the season. Any info would be great, thanks and good luck this season.

Pick the stand with the deer coming from the upwind side as long as the deer are upwind of you your fine.

Thanks, kinda what i figured but father in law didn't think it was too big of a deal. I'll be playing the wind and hoping for a shot.

If the wund is pretty strong I have noticed that many times the dear will walk with the wind
