Deer stand cushion?

Recommended Posts

I have a number of home made ladder stands around my property, and I carry a cushion with me when I am going to hunt one of them. I have tried a boat cushion and other things, but have not found any to be comfortable very long. Anybody have a cushion that has worked well for them? Something that is comfortable for a few hours and waterproof on the bottom? Thanks for any ideas. CH

Lightning, I did look at those- does it work ok?

Yeah. I have the thin one from the factory on the stands, then I carry the foam with me. It seems to work good. doesn't get matted down or anything. returns to original shape(thickness). Keeps the bum a little warmer on the chilly days. Thick enough that your tail bone isn't hitting the hard metal. No pain or soreness when getting back up (or at least, much less stiffness/soreness). Worth a shot for under $10. Can always use it for other events too (high school football, etc.)
