LMITOUT
The game against New Mexico State should be about getting second- and third-teamers playing time and allowing quarterback MarQueis Gray to get more much-needed experience.Another MN sports media hack with a brilliant prediction. He must be some relation to Paul Allen. A little objective reporting in this state would be refreshing for a change, and you'd think being smack-dab in the middle of Loserville, USA would eventually straighten them out a bit but nope. The Kool-Aid is still being mixed much too strong and doled out by the gallon by these people which only makes the fans more loony than they already are. zamboni
Dude, he's asking what channel the game is on, and you come up with that? Take a Ritalin, man
LMITOUT
Scary situation on the sideline with Coach Kill. Hope he is alright. Apparently he has had issues with seizures in the past.
james_walleye
As if MN is the only place that this happens. You can't possibly believe that MN sports fans are the only people that "drink the kool aid.

flipper
The announcers said Coach Kill had this happen back in 2005 I think. I read he is in stable condition now. Let's hope he feels better soon.
LMITOUT
Sounds like it has happened a couple of times and he even warned his players that it could happen. One thing about Kill is that he appears to be very upfront about everything and doesn't make promises or excuses. He's one of the good ones. james_walleye
If that logic allows you to sleep well at night then stay thirsty my friend. Has nothing to do with logic. That is the nature of sports fans. Here in MN and everywhere else. Quit pretending its some exclusive to MN.
LMITOUT
Has nothing to do with logic. Boy, you said a mouthful there and pretty much summed up what I've been saying all along about the MN sports media and their sycophant fans. WyoChris
LMITOUT has some issues. I bet he didn't even care about the packers until the playoffs started last season. He just waits on this forum until a Minnesota fan posts a topic, then he tries and thinks of the best way to to respond, relate it to the packers, and the says how awesome wisconsin is. Not only is he a dork, but he is a traitor to his hometown. If the lions won the superbowl last season, i'm sure he would have a profile picture of Suh. Pathetic...... james_walleye
Can u make a single post without twisting what is said by someone else. You know full well its not just the MN media. Just stop pretending for once. The transparency is obvious......

tonkapat
Well the gophers have proved to be consistent with the other mn sports teams. Gonna be tough to eak out a win this season. At least we have the vikings to look forward to right If we get lucky there will be no nba season. That way we don't have to admit having the worst nba team also. zepman
Well, for as promising as they looked last weekend, they sure dribbled it down their leg today.I didn't watch the 2nd half but I couldn't understand the play-calling in the 1st. How many times did they have Grey rolling out to his "off" side...had to have been at least 4 and I don't think he completed one of those passes. No "called" or designed running plays for the big guy either. Just didn't make alot of sense to me.Hope Kill is o.k....from all indications, he is. I really like the guy and wished he could have gotten that home opener in the W column. Looks like another long season....

SkunkedAgain
That was one of the least enthusiastic Gopher games that I've ever attended. The team was asleep through the first couple series and the loudest cheer from the crowd came at the start of the 3rd quarter when they announced Max as the Gophers QB.I liked Kill's demeanor on the sideline but think that it will take a while for the team to adopt his attitude and thirst for excellence.
