My daughter Anna asked me three weeks ago if I had any problems with her getting colored contacts. I fought the idea of her covering her big beautiful brown eyes with green or blue contacts. Was I naive or not clear on my questions?? I love my daughter and gave in.

I guess I need to be more specific the next time.

I don't see any reference to metal objects sticking out of her body; inappropriate place or not. Colored contacts! I wouldn't bat an eye...pun intended!

Seriously, colored contacts.. not extreme, not "rebellious", just kinda like dying her hair, which I'd bet 90% of women do at one point in their life.
