you should be able to buy insurance on it. after all they sell snow mobile insurance, boat insurance, wheel house insurance(basically a RV camper type policy) so I don't see why they wouldn't offer ATV insurance. Just ask your agent.

I got mine insured. It cost $5 a month so it is covered if anything happens to it.It saves on the home owners policy if you would have a something happen to it.

I just got my policy and it was only $25 a year. Extra bodily injury and Property damage is included.

Heck ya I insure my wheeler, dang thing cost more then the truck and trailer combo that hauls it...and I have little baby 400. Couldn't imgine not having insurance as ATV prices reach into the several thousands.

Funny story:

A few years back the ice was getting spooky so the decision was made by me and a buddy to leave the trucks on shore. After some time staring at our two old trucks on shore it occurred to me we drove $12,000 worth of ATVs onto the ice to save two $500 trucks…priceless.

Funny as heck! I cant believe how many $45,000 boats I see getting pulled by $500 trucks. Some arent even worth the amount of gas they would have in the tank.

All my toys are fully insured. If possible I insure them for more than they are worth because I usually have accessories on them and I dont want to get caught short.

If ya are adding things over stock condition make sure you notify your agent as they might not be covered unless you endorse your policy.....for example for a motorcycle policy with the family insurance company they won't cover your chrome/saddle bags/radio/ferrings/sissy bars/custom paint/windshield and some other things if your policy isn't endorsed.

For sure! I totaled a boat years back Boat replacement value was $14,000. Lost/destroyed gear during the accident was another $12,500. Thankfully my agent sold me the gear coverage.

Yes, wheeler insurance for sure.

I have insurance on everything that I won. No reason to have a loss due to a policy not in effect.

Jonny mentions something all should look into that own a boat.

Check your contents insurance as you may be shocked how much value one has in tackle along.
