I just rolled my eyes when I heard it. It was the Randy Moss defense, lots of people use this car, it's not mine. I heard Beaz got some run in Howard Pulley and showed up in a couple gyms looking for games, so over the weekend it was all positive, then this came out yesterday and having too many at the 3 spot is looking better and better.

doesn't matter if he's guilty or not. he's locked out. the team or NBA can't fine/suspend anyone during a lockout. he's really only guilty of being an [PoorWordUsage].

I thought they still had to follow the current rules even under a lockout similar to the NFL where off field issues can still be punished when the lockout is over?

They can't punish him now, but yes, he will be punished. His citation date was within the temporal bounds of the now expired collective bargaining agreement. When a new one is drafted, he'll get his letter in the mail from the league.

petty misdemeanor. not first offense though. probably a game or two. I'm not too down on him. I'm not on the "ship him out" wagon. He went the same draft slot in a much deeper draft. Williams is a great piece with a hard work ethic which is good, but his ceiling isn't the same as beasley's. With his work ethic he's beasley with more hustle. whereas if beasley had william's work ethic he'd be like Carmelo. He's a 22 year old kid, none of those ever screw up when handed a boat load of cash. His history doesn't help his case, but he could just as easily turn the corner and figure life out.

K-Love admits to dabbling as well, I'm guessing a pretty large number of NBA guys smoke weed, they are just smart enough to not get caught.
