GatorBait
I've seen thousand of boats, but that is one design I have never come across. HUH, very interesting.
Gordie
I'm going to build performance pods on it and put my beavertail on it and see how it goeas across the water. weeds and mud. Its 14 ft long and at its widest its 55 inches and 16 inches deep. I think it will work pretty good if not I will probally get more in scrap aluminum price than I paid for it. nate larson
Looks like a sweet ride to me. Let me know if you need some ballast in the front.
BoxMN
I had one very similar that I just gave to a friend, along with an old 15hp Fastwin. The difference is that mine was flat from stern all the way to bow, but it was connected the same way as yours, it was more "normal" semi-vee where it connected in front. But real close in end result. It was a Klamath brand, and also 14' long, not sure how wide, but it did not fit in full size pickup bed, too wide. Bryce
Don't get tempted onto big water with it. Looks like a killer in waves.
BoxMN
Hmmm... we can't EDIT anymore?... I meant to say it was NOT connected at the bow like yours. And yes, in rough water I think these boats would be good kidney busters
HNTNBUX
Are you building your own pods and welding them on yourself?
Bryce
Sorry for not wording it stronger. Don't worry about your kidneys, that thing will be a death trap on big water.
leech~~
I have a buddy who's dad was a supply Sergeant in the Army and he had one just like it. He said that it was some kind of militarily issued boat? Not sure what they used it for? But it was built like a tank!

Hey Bryce, I wasn't meaning you can't edit but that my EDIT button is nowhere to be found so I could change my post! ha I needed the editting, not you! Anyway, I agree with you! Bryce
No problem. Never took it that way. Just wanted to make sure the the guy doesn't get into trouble. Is a bit annoying that you only get about 10 minutes to edit a post. They're usually pretty fast about getting glitches like that fixed. Gordie
Are you building your own pods and welding them on yourself? yes I will be building my own pods or pod as it will be a one piece pod and the beavertail will connect to that. Yes to the welding too. I am also thinking of do ing a little work on the bow as well. This boat is for the rice and mud bogs so to speak and my 18ft MV is for big water like Mille Lacs or WinniAnd as I said if its not the right type of boat it will scrapped as it will bring more than I paid for it as scrap Alum.
