Indigo Bunting

Try......just TRY to picture this: today, about mid-afternoon, watching front feeder. Indigo bunting lands to scope out lunch. Bang....big male cardinal lands about six inches away and before you can blink here comes a male oriole landing within 6-8 inches of others!

Talk about a splash of color on a drab grey day! Wow! Last week we had THREE male scarlet tanagers land on our windowsill and sit there side by side for several minutes. I have no clue why. That'll brighten your day!!

We had 2 inidgo males in the feeders on last Sun. afternoon along with an oriole. My wife put out some grape jelly friday and it rained all day saturday, yet the oriole finds it on sunday!
