Fall walleye trips

Hey guys.

I'm getting a new boat in August this year so I'm gonna save a lot of my fishing trips till Sept - Oct. and wanted some opinions on where to go. I'd like to set up a trip for the fall, somewhere I can get into some big fish. Any particular lakes that shine in the fall? I will definately be on Mille Lacs and leech but wanted to try something new as well. Maybe Winni, Cass, Rainy, LOW or Rainy River? Help me out with some good trip ideas.

Thanks,

Joe

Cant beat Winnie in the fall great jig and minnow bite for walleyes and great crappie action mid to late Sept in Cut Foot. Nice thing is you dont have to be out at night like Mille Lacs or Leech if there is no wind.

You can get both numbers and size on the Rainy

Rainy would be my 1st choice. I find Winni to be boaring with nothing but shoreline and no islands or anything but the fishing can be good. LOW is always good no matter what time of year.
