Vintage gas pump worth anything

Ok, i really wasn't sure to put this, so I will put it here for now. We have an old vintage Mobil 1 Gas pump on our farm that hasn't been used in ages. It's just sitting back by an old shed. I know they are worth something to the right person, but I just thought I would ask because I had a guy inquire about it, and said he'd give me a hundred bucks for it. I know it should be worth well more than that, so I passed on the lowball offer. The glass is all there and not cracked, paints a little faded, but theres not too much rust on it. I'm thinking I might try to get it out of the weather and into a shed before summer if I find that it's worth something.

You were right to turn down that low ball offer. Gas pumps are very collectable. Get on HSO-Classifieds or google and do a little research and you may be surprised at the value !!! The glass may be worth more than the pump!

Don't you watch American Pickers? I don't either....but have caught a few shows where they have purchased some old pumps for a good price......$600-1000 for certain ones in rough shape and not restored if I remember correctly.

I do watch those shows occasionally but not every week, just thought I'd see if anyone on here knew anything about pricing on them.
