I can't see how it would be profitable to build a track and only go every other year. Kentucky would draw, but it is just another 1.5 mile track like all the others.

Rockingham used to have some of the best races of the year. Every race was within a car length. Remember Craven and Busch sliding off the last turn side by side with smoke and sparks flying off both cars?

NASCAR got greedy and started giving the bigger tracks more races and taking away from the smaller ones because they could sell more tickets at the bigger ones. I think it has kind of bitten them now.

I just know that was the worst Daytona 500 I have ever watched. By lap 25 I was wishing it would hurry up and get to the last 25 laps. You can't even call that racing. The sad thing is that I think NASCAR thought it was an awesome race!

Of course NASCAR thought it was a great race. What else are they going to say?

They will just keep losing fans. Pretty easy to see that with all that are frustrated with the racing.

i think it will be different or they will try to make it different by taledega

it just cant be easy to make rules for those cars some say take off the plates do they then build a see threw dome over the track to keep the cars outa the stands or car parts

i'm just glad its not my job to try to keep everyone happy

True...Unfortunately. It is that attitude though that has NASCAR on the downward swing in popularity. They just need to admit that for the most part the racing has sucked ever since they introduced the COT and then do whatever they need to do to get it back to real racing.
