pikedreams
Due to the vary nature of football the title has to return to Green Bay every few years, and it's for the good of the game it's self. You see by doing so the game is regrounded, and comes back to it's roots. To shed the razzle dazzle, hype and hollywood of the game. Back when men were men and had grass stains, bloody nuckles and muddey feet.It returns to a small hamlet in Wisconsin with no razzle dazzle, no hype and no hollywood. To remind us all that the game is not about hype, but the game it's self. Where a 10-6 team can go all the way and win a world championship. That's football, that's Packer football! You gotta reach in your gut and find out who you are. And for the good of the game it was Green Bay ounce again. Everyone should relish this win. All of you who love the the game. Sould relish in this win.
Born2Fish
I will have some relish on my hotdogs....Other than that no thanks. Yeah, yeah its back in Packer land. But it's NOT the olden days where men are men. Every QB is protected by 15 different rules to make it so he doesn't get his pretty jersey dirty in the game. Defenses are hogtied so they can't fly around with reckless abandon and do what they do best....Get physical. I am sorry but it is not the olden days. They have long been over. It is the age of razzle dazzle. Yay, Packers won the Superbowl after going 10-6 and being a 6th seed. I am as excited as I was when the playoffs started...and that is not saying very much. Go pack go away.
PierBridge
You're right it's not the olden days. The players of today are bigger, faster, stronger and hit much harder then the old days! By a long shot! Go Vikes.....
pikedreams
Hmmm, Have you looked in the Vikings trophy case lateley? Spider webs, nuf said. And they've been around for 50 years. Sour grapes.
Born2Fish
No sour grapes here. I just don't cheer for a team that wins unless it is the team I like. Good for the Packers for winning the big game, but I am not going to throw out congrats to a team that I don't follow. And the whole "Trophy Case" thing is getting a little old. I could honestly care less how many Superbowls the Vikings have won or lost. I won't switch teams because of Superbowl wins.
RiverFish
I wouldn't switch teams because of SB wins either, but you have to admit it would be nice for MN fans if the Vikes could win just once

CJH
Sems like the Packer fans sure love to talk about the Vikings and no SB win. I guess it concerns you more than it does me. Seems like a lot of Vikes fans like to talk smack and be bitter. Apparently it does concern you or you wouldn't have posted regularly in several Packer threads!
