Just picked her up on Friday. This is Bailey. A chocolate lab from Smith Farm Labradors in Grove City. She already likes to get the birds for me.

i think most likly I will hire someone to do the hunting training. I can handle the obedience training for the most part but I have never really had to train on the hunting aspect. I have had one other hunter and she was a natural.

just make sure you don't send her to hunting school with a pink and purple polk a dot collar, her classmates might make fun of her....nice looking dog, congrats!.

My opinion on your thought would be to be just the reverse. Let someone do the obedience/yard work. Teaching a dog to hunt is far less difficult.

I see no dogs on the furniture lasted long, . Same situation at my house. If I want a dog head on my lap during the hockey game, he has to be on the couch right? I'm sure as heck not sitting on the floor. Good lookin pup.
