92 artic cat jag

hi I recently purchased a 92 jag. The first time i start it each day it seems very hard to get it moving. I put on a new belt. Before i try i lift each ski and the back end and bounce on it to make sure its not froze. any bearings that tend to go or stick? what would you check? Thanks

Put the rear end up on some jack stands and loosen the track enough so you can rotate the idler wheels by hand to check for bad bearings - then retighten the track to the proper tension if they check out okay.

Check to make sure your brakes aren't hanging up also!

my pro x 440 does the same thing, a few things i found that helped, loosen the track, use thinnner gear oil made for cold temps, park sled on cement or on glare ice, do not apply brakes to stop at where your going to park it and make sure you dont put a flat spot on your belt

Could be some of the things already listed but putting it up on a stand and running out the track,belt,clutches etc. to warm things up really helps before you take off.Will extend the life of your belt to.
