Just wondering what colors are you guys apt to go to, Mine is firetiger and red and white, what are your thought....

Assuming open water here, it's chartreuse. For the single preferred color for open water pike (as per your thread title), nothing else even comes close.

There are a couple other color combos that really rock based on different weather and water conditions, but that's not what you asked.

Mine are fire tiger for cranks or jerk baits. Spoons red and white. bucktails black and gold or black and nickel.

Orange it is for me always been a good stand by. but hammered gold spoons and black and white spoons are pretty hard to beat.

Where I usually fish pike; nickel blades and silver/blue skirt has been the go-to for spinners. Chartruese, orange, either combined with black and firetiger or walleye have been good for me. All that said, I wouldn't stress over color as much as action, SPEED, and depth.

Done very well with all black Suicks or gold with sparkles and many times a blend of gold with orange for my SuperD swimbaits. Also have had luck with the black back/glow in the dark belly swimbaits in the past.
