BROKEN ZIPPER QUESTION

Go with a wider tooth zipper, and a heavier zipper too.

The wider tooth will chew frost better, and tend not to bust as easily. The price difference at that pint is nominal.

TIP: Lube your zippers on your ice shacks with Chap Stick, it helps them work more easily in the cold, and resists frosting.

I broke mine a couple of years ago. Went to a local company that makes custom boat covers. They replace with a heavy two side zipper for $60. I also have the clam with the roll up front door. I agree on the heavy zipper, a camper or boat canvas company should be able to fix you up. Lot cheaper than new canvas.

For what ever reason your email did not make it through cyber-space to my inbox. I do not know if we can name names on the site but the local guy that we use (and is right by you) is

Wally's Upholstery 1/4 mile W of 9/71 junction. New London, MN Wally Abraham 320-354-2615

Hope I dont get into trouble for using his name.
