Summer in Alaska

I spent the summer working for the USFS on Prince of Wales Island in SE AK, thought i would share a few of the pics i got with you all. All were taking with a pretty beat up camera. Ive got tons of pics kinda like this so if you like them let me know and i can post some more.

The first three pics are from when we were flown north to Hoonah area for a wildfire. THe third pic is from our camp up there. And yep that is a sockeye it was unreal, we were about twenty yards from the ocean so they were really chrome. I have actually been working up there for the last two summers so here is a few more from both. Glad you all like them i wish i was still up there!

One of the sockeye from the spot in the picture above, we ended up catching our limits every day we worked in this spot, smoked them and man are they delicious.

Some peaks and Alpine we hiked around in on POW.

The first place we were flown into to work in 09, absolutely amazing cutthroat trout fishing on this lake.

No Grizzlys on POW, but alot of black bears
